At Dragonstone, Stannis Baratheon declares himself as the rightful king of Westeros, and rejects Robb Stark's offer of an alliance. He is influenced by Melisandre, a red priestess who worships a god called R'hllor. Stannis burns the statues of the Seven, the gods of Westeros, as a sign of his conversion to R'hllor.
